Condolences

Condolence From: J Mitchell
Condolence: My condolences to you on the sudden and tragic loss of your dear son. Know that at this most difficult time in your life, others care about you. Most importantly, the true God cares. He is greater than our own hearts and understands the anguish that must have been in his heart (1 Peter 5:7; 1 John3:19,20). May His promises grant you peace and a measure of comfort during this most grievous time, and may the wonderful memories you have of Ethan stay close to your hearts until the time comes when you see him again (John 5:28,29).

Condolence From: Eden O'Brien-Brenner & Family
Condolence: Oh Marna, John, Libby, Graham and Molly, and Finn; I am heartbroken for you. I remember the day Ethan was born and meeting him 3 days later at the Y. Still the youngest ever to come as far as I know. I loved having Ethan in my care. He was so funny and sweet. I don't think I'll ever understand or comprehend this tragedy. But please know we are all (me, Anton, Jamie and Dante) sending thoughts your way and wish we could help in some crazy distant way. Love you all so very much! Eden

Condolence From: Annette Swanson
Condolence: Dear Marna and family, words cannot express how shocked and sad our whole family was to learn about Ethan's passing. Since then I have thought of you so, so many times every single day, and every time I do, I lift you up in prayer, because I don't have anything else in my repertoire that could possibly help but to grieve with you, and ask God to touch you. Now that your beautiful boy is gone, and his moving, heart-wrenching funeral is past, it seems a travesty that the world can just march ahead day-by-day without him. Know that Ethan will ALWAYS be remembered fondly, and know that you and your family will be close in our thoughts for a long, long time to come. With hugs and prayers--- Annette (Anthony Swanson's mom)

Condolence: Ethan was always the funniest guy to work and rehearse with in Brownell choir and musicals. I'll never forget his sense of humor, talent and kindness towards others. My thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends.

Condolence: Ethan was such a pillar of sweetness and perceptivity. I was always so struck by his deep introspection and gentle persona. He was a person, who once you meet him, lingers in his presence because you knew that here was a person of great depth and deep thinking. . . such a special soul, with us such a short time. My heart is so heavy for your loss. Words can never soothe such a sadness, only time will allay the pain. Much love to you and yours.

Condolence: I am so sorry that you have to go through the pain of this. This isn't my first time learning that a friend has committed suicide. It's something that hurts and confuses everyone. My heart is broken, with you and for you as well.

Condolence: Without fail, every encounter I had with Ethan made me smile. Talented, creative, but most of all kind. He was a tremendous friend to Owen at a time when Owen needed it most. My heart breaks with and for you.
