William Sadler
William R. Sadler age 88 of St. Clair Shores, August 7, 2017. Son of the late John and Elizabeth Sadler. Predeceased by his siblings Marilyn Sadler, Barbara (Adam) Czuprenski and James (June) Sadler. Loving Uncle of Mike (Kathy) Czuprenski, David (Lynn) Czuprenski, the late Wayne (Shelagh) Czuprenski, Amy (Tom) McKaig, Sandy (Marty) Lard, James “Sonny” Sadler, Victoria Sadler and Lesley (Jayson) Brice. He was also a Great and Great-great Uncle to many. Bill was a member of The Crescent Sail Yacht Club and enjoyed sailing and Racing in the Port Huron Mackinac Race. He was a proud veteran and served as a communications technician in the Korean War. Bill enjoyed fishing, gardening and volunteering as a handyman. He loved Tuesday lunches with the Gazebo Club at Crescent and spending time with his best friend of many years, Maynard Rupp. Bill will be remembered for his sharp wit and his good sense of humor. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 3:00-8:00pm with funeral services on Thursday at 11:00am at the Chas. Verheyden Inc. (Schultz Chapel) Funeral Home, 21705 Gratiot, Eastpointe, Michigan 48021
