Condolence From: John Sherry
Condolence: Bill worked with my Dad at Burroughs in the 1960s designing one of the first magnetic computer storage devices- my dad always said Bill was a genius-level electrical engineer. My Dad introduced Bill to Crescent and to sailing and I have great memories of racing our Lightning with my Dad at the helm and Bill setting the sails up front, guided by an ever-present Salem cigarette. He quickly became a favorite of my siblings and I-- always in great spirits, teasing us and ready to toss us up in the air. He would try to convince us that the crumbs were the the best part of Bruce's pies. I always look for him whenever I go to Crescent or to many of our family events. Crescent won't be the same without him. He was a tremendous and loved friend to all the Sherry's and undoubtedly a part of our family. I will always carry warm memories of him.
God Bless Bill and all the Sadlers,
John Sherry & family
